During the course, you will learn how to manage your computer, mobile phone, logins, passwords and other digital common sense in a privacy-safe way. The course is educational for those who have already acquired or are interested in getting started with a Linux computer and a privacy-proof mobile. The course has an emphasis on computer use.
The foundation of a hassle-free and privacy-proof computer and mobile use is spelled Linux respectively GrapheneOS, the world's most modern, secure, stable and high-performance operating system.
Of all the major computer operating systems on the market, only Linux is not owned and controlled by Big Tech companies like Google, Microsoft and Apple.
However, there is a perception that you need to be a real 'hacker' or computer expert to master this 'alternative' operating system. This may have been true at one time, but those days are gone - Linux today is a state-of-the-art, user-friendly operating system. It's also considered more secure and stable than the Big Tech alternatives, which is why it's used in many professional settings. You also get safer from surveillance and intrusion with Linux.
Furthermore, the Linux user avoids distractions in the form of annoying pop-up boxes that encourage them to take a stand or do this or that. The focus is instead on the practical, everyday use that was the reason for getting a computer in the first place.

Basic course with Linux installation
Although Linux today is both modern and user-friendly, it can be difficult to take the step to really get started. In addition, you must first install Linux on your computer, which is not always obvious how to do.
If you recognise yourself in the above problems, we have the solution for you!
During our one-day course in southern Dalarna (about two hours travelling time from Stockholm) you will learn everything you need to get started with Linux as well as a lot of tips that will make your daily computer use easier.
During the course, we will install Linux on your computer, which means that you will be able to get started with Linux on your own computer already during the course - alternatively, you can buy a new Linux computer via the online store and take the course at the same time.
