Good to know before you switch
Honest answers to what people often wonder about — no sales tricks.
Do BankID, Swish and my banking app work?
Yes. BankID and Swish work exactly as usual, directly on your mobile – you don't need a Google account. The vast majority of Swedish banking apps work excellently. We test the basic functions before delivery and help you get started.
Why buy pre-configured instead of installing yourself?
Installing GrapheneOS or Linux yourself is perfectly feasible – for those who are used to it. What you purchase from us is a complete and tested installation with considered default settings, a Swedish manual, and support to call. You avoid the risk and the hours, and have a Swedish company responsible for ensuring everything works upon delivery.
Is it difficult to switch from iPhone, Android or Windows?
No. The Matrix mobile is used just like a regular Android mobile, and our computers with KDE Plasma will feel immediately familiar to you if you've used Windows. Most things are where you expect them to be — and we'll help you move over the most important bits.
Can I use my regular apps?
The vast majority of apps work exactly as usual, without a Google account. Only a few apps require Google services – for these, you can install sandboxed Google Play, if necessary in a separate profile so that the rest of your mobile remains private.
What happens if I get stuck?
You can call or email us – Swedish support is included. If you need more, there’s personal remote support, guides in Swedish, and basic courses where you can learn at your own pace.
What right of withdrawal and protection do I have as a customer?
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases and a right to complain according to the Consumer Sales Act. You are buying from a Swedish company with an organisation number, a physical address in Hedemora and the option to collect in person.
