Basic Linux vs. the Teuton Systems concept

When you order a computer from us, or send in your own for conversion, you have the option of choosing between two different software configurations which we call "Basic Linux" and the "Teuton Systems concept". Here we explain in more detail what these options mean.

Basic Linux

Provides you with a stable and user-friendly platform at an affordable price. You get a reliable and easy-to-use Linux-based operating system pre-installed on your computer.

The operating system has been chosen to offer a good balance between security and ease of use. While there are other systems that offer more advanced security features, these can often compromise the user experience. With our default option, you get the security and stability of a Linux system, along with an intuitive and easy-to-use interface that feels familiar to users with experience of Windows. In addition, you have access to a wide range of programmes and tools to cover most needs.

Even with our "Basic" solution, you will have a more secure system compared to, for example, a standard installation of Windows.

The Teuton Systems concept

For those looking for a more comprehensive security solution, we offer our unique Teuton Systems concept. This option further enhances the level of security through a range of advanced protection measures and tools, customised for demanding users.

Your computer comes with an encrypted hard drive, so your data is protected even if the device is lost or stolen. In addition to the basic installation, a complete package of carefully selected software is included to cover your needs:

• Fully encrypted messaging service: Secure communication through a messaging service using full-range encryption.
• Encrypted e-mail service: A secure email account is created for you, where all communications are protected.
• Secure browser configuration: The browser is pre-configured to block tracking and protect your privacy.
• Automatic VPN tunnel: Every time you log in, a secure VPN tunnel which protects all your internet traffic without you having to take extra measures.
• MAC address switching: To further reinforce your anonymity, the computer's MAC address from the original factory setting.
