In 2025, we at Teuton Systems are organising a course<\/a> for you and other conscious computer and mobile users. Learn everything you need to free yourself from Big Tech companies' complicated and privacy-invasive \"solutions\" and join us in the tech community of the free world. The next course will take place in southern Dalarna on Saturday 8 February and can be booked here<\/a>.

During the course, you will learn how to manage your computer, mobile phone, logins, passwords and other digital common sense in a privacy-safe way. The course is educational for those who have already acquired or are interested in getting started with a Linux computer and a privacy-focused phone<\/a>. The course has an emphasis on computer use.<\/p>\n

The foundation of a hassle-free and privacy-proof computer and mobile use is spelled\u00a0Linux <\/strong>respectively GrapheneOS<\/strong>, the world's most modern, secure, stable and high-performance operating system.<\/p>\n

Of all the major computer operating systems on the market, only Linux is not owned and controlled by Big Tech companies like Google, Microsoft and Apple.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

However, there is a perception that you need to be a real 'hacker' or computer expert to master this 'alternative' operating system. This may have been true at one time, but those days are gone - Linux today is a state-of-the-art, user-friendly operating system. It's also considered more secure and stable than the Big Tech alternatives, which is why it's used in many professional settings. You also get safer from surveillance<\/a> and intrusion with Linux.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the Linux user avoids distractions in the form of annoying pop-up boxes that encourage them to take a stand or do this or that. The focus is instead on the practical, everyday use that was the reason for getting a computer in the first place.<\/p>\n

Among other things, you will learn about the free operating system Linux, which is at least as user-friendly as Windows and MacOS.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Basic course with Linux installation<\/h3>\n

Although Linux today is both modern and user-friendly, it can be difficult to take the step to really get started. In addition, you must first install Linux on your computer, which is not always obvious how to do.<\/p>\n

If you recognise yourself in the above problems, we have the solution for you!<\/p>\n

During our one-day course in southern Dalarna (about two hours travelling time from Stockholm) you will learn everything you need to get started with Linux as well as a lot of tips that will make your daily computer use easier.<\/p>\n

During the course, we will install Linux on your computer, which means that you will be able to get started with Linux on your own computer already during the course - alternatively, you can buy a new Linux computer via the online store and take the course at the same time.<\/p>\n
