In 2024, we at Teuton Systems are organising a\u00a0basic course<\/a>\u00a0for you and other conscious computer users. Learn everything you need to get started with Linux - the operating system of the future - and join the technical community of the free world. The next course will take place in southern Dalarna on Saturday 6 April and can be booked\u00a0here<\/a>.

Of all the major operating systems on the market, only Linux is not owned and controlled by Big Tech companies like Google, Microsoft and Apple.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

However, there is a perception that you need to be a real 'hacker' or computer expert to master this 'alternative' operating system. This may have been true at one time, but those days are gone - Linux today is a state-of-the-art, user-friendly operating system. It's also considered more secure and stable than the Big Tech alternatives, which is why it's used in many professional settings. You also get\u00a0safer from surveillance<\/a>\u00a0and intrusion with Linux.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the Linux user avoids distractions in the form of annoying pop-up boxes that encourage them to take a stand or do this or that. The focus is instead on the practical, everyday use that was the reason for getting a computer in the first place.<\/p>\n

During the course, you will be helped to get started and comfortable with the freer operating system on your own computer and be able to ask questions.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/figure>\n

Basic course with Linux installation<\/h3>\n

Although Linux today is both modern and user-friendly, it can be difficult to take the step to really get started. In addition, you must first install Linux on your computer, which is not always obvious how to do.<\/p>\n

If you recognise yourself in the above problems, we have the solution for you!<\/p>\n

During our one-day course in southern Dalarna (about two hours travelling time from Stockholm) you will learn everything you need to get started with Linux as well as a lot of tips that will make your daily computer use easier.<\/p>\n

During the course, we will install Linux on your computer, which means that you will be able to get started with Linux on your own computer already during the course - alternatively you can buy a new Linux computer via online stores<\/a> and take the course at the same time.<\/p>\n
